Lisa Oakes is an artist based in San Antonio, Texas.  Her stylized figures are painstakingly crafted to include powerfully emotional facial expressions, including eyes that are difficult to stop peering into. Her work is primarily painted using grey scale values mixed from flat, matte black and white acrylic paint. All work is sealed with several coats of a high quality resin based UV resistant spray sealant to ensure long-term protection of each piece.
